State Secretary Rex Tylerson climbed on Fox News Tuesday night and occupied Obama’s 2015 deal on Iran, calling it “one of the worst and most unilateral transactions the United States has ever entered.”
Then he started in the camera and said something that we all waited: “[it] really needs to be revised.”
FINALLY we have responsible people who both realize that this deal is terrible and ready to act on it!
Tylersson said the most obvious problem with the agreement with Iran is the provision that most of the key restrictions currently imposed on Iran will be lifted in 2030 – called the “sunset clause”.
Tylerson said the conditions would be reflected by those who allowed North Korea to acquire nuclear weapons:
“Unfortunately, this is what [the US governments] did in the past with North Korea. They simply entered contracts that were short-lived or easily mocked.”
He added that Trump is considering similar lines, which the president himself said:
“And I think that this is the president’s assessment of the Iranian nuclear agreement, is that this is not a strict agreement, it has not slowed down their program enough and their accountability is difficult under the agreement.”
Obama negotiated the deal in 2015 with the U.S., Russia, China, France, Great Britain, and Germany. Shortly after, Trump tweeted:
Obama’s nuclear deal with the Iranians will lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. It has to be stopped.

It’s amazing how things are now full circle and we have an administration ready to work to make it right!
